Perrett Returning to Paints for 2019

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - Right-handed pitcher Taylor Perrett has signed a contract to return in 2019 - the Chillicothe Paints, presented by Adena Health System, announced Monday.
Perrett started ten games for the Paints last summer and went 3-2 with a 4.71 ERA. He struck out 52 batters and walked just 10 in 49 2/3 innings of work.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Kalamazoo, Mich., native plays collegiately for Denison University (NCAA DIII-North Coast Athletic Conference), where he helped the Big Red to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance last Spring. As a freshman in 2018, Perrett was 8-3 with a 3.64 ERA over 76 2/3 innings across 16 appearances (11 starts). His numbers included one save and one complete game.
