Pedroia to speak at Light On After School

Dustin Pedrioa will be a guest speaker today at Lights On After School sponsored by the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Pedroia formerly from Arizona State University and now a prospect with the Boston Red Sox will speak to over 400 students about the importance of being involved in after school programs.
Lights On After School is a nation wide event to make students aware of the after school programs available in their communities. The event will be held today at 7380 E. Second Street at the Center for the Arts from 3:30-5:15 p.m. Pedroia will be speaking at 4:00 p.m.
Pedroia is currently playing in the Arizona Fall League as a member of the Scottsdale Scorpions. The Arizona Fall League, owned and operated by Major League Baseball, is in its 13th season.
