PBL Appoints William Askinazi Executive for International Asian/American Business

(Rockville, Maryland)... The Premier Basketball League is pleased to announce the addition of William Askinazi, Esquire as the new Executive Consultant for International Asian/American Business Development. "Bill Askinazi has experience in International Business unmatched by few individuals" stated Dr. Sev Hrwnak PBL Chairman of the Board. Mr. Askinazi, a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center and MBA from the University of Connecticut, has a twenty four year career in government service, international business, Global 200 companies, private law and business practice and state and local politics. Mr. Askinazi utilizes his expertise to facilitate domestic and international deals as well as utilize his business networks and relationships to raise money and attract intellectual talent to solve strategic partner challenges. Mr. Askinazi advises growing companies on risk avoidance strategies and other business related matters.

In addition, Mr. Askinazi is a former State of Maryland Assistant Secretary of Business & Economic Development. While in office for the State of Maryland, Mr. Askinazi led a team of international business leaders including, Governor Robert Ehrlich, to solidify international trade with China. Bill continued to work closely with Maryland/China business relations. The Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development's representative office in China reported to Mr. Askinazi during his tenure with the State of Maryland. Established in 1996, the MCC is the oldest and largest office in China of any of the fifty U.S. states. "The addition of Bill Askinazi as part of the PBL truly provides us with the ability to fulfill our vision to bring the PBL brand to the world stage. Bill is a first rate businessman who knows how to make deals happen" stated PBL CEO Tom Doyle.
