Paul Wilson Re-Signs with Harrisburg for 2017

Harrisburg, PA (January, 05, 2017) - Midfielder Paul "Kiki" Wilson will return to the pitch in 2017 with the Harrisburg City Islanders. In 2016, the Jamaican footballer signed a 2-year contract with the Central PA team and will carry-out the second half of his agreement this season.
Wilson's first year with the Harrisburg City Islanders was also his rookie season in the USL. He kicked off 2016 by scoring the first goal of the season on Harrisburg soil in the Islanders first home match against Louisville City FC. "I remember scoring my first goal for the Islanders. It was against Louisville city...at home. I remember when coach came to me and said, 'I want to see if you'll be the first Islander player to score on the Island.' And I said, 'Hopefully'," Wilson humbly stated.
Paul played a total of 1,816 minutes in 28 appearances and finished 4th in goals (4), 3rd in points (14), and 2nd in assists (6).
Harrisburg's Head Coach Bill Becher recognized Wilson's strong presence early on last season.
"Paul had a great first year with us. He was huge at the beginning of the season especially with putting up points, scoring goals and getting assists. He's the kind of guy that makes everyone around him better. He comes to training every day to work hard and he wants to improve himself and the team. We're excited to have Paul back," Becher said.
Paul Wilson is the first player to officially return to the Harrisburg City Islanders roster.
