
Paints Sign WMU's Ethan Hajdukovic for 2019

CHILLICOTHE, Ill. - The Chillicothe Paints, presented by Adena Health System, made their first official player signing for the 2019 season. Ethan Hajdukovic, a first baseman and left-handed pitcher from Western Michigan University will join the Paints for their 27th season beginning in late May.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound junior is primarily a first baseman at WMU. In 34 game appearances, including 13 starts, Hajdukovic has a career batting average of .200 (13-for-65) and has hit three doubles, a home run and collected nine RBIs. He had his most offensively productive game April 29 of last season when he drove in four and scored twice at Eastern Michigan.
Last summer, Hajdukovic played in the collegiate wood-bat Hamptons League for the Westhampton Aviators. He hit .301 (46-for-153) with 16 doubles, one triple, four home runs and 29 RBIs. Hajduovic was named to the HCBL Second Team for his efforts.
Hajdukovic is a native of Inverness, Ill., and went to Fremd High School, where he was a selected All-Conference twice and named Northwest All-Area as a senior.
