
Paints Lead League in Attendance, 12th Nationally

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The Chillicothe Paints, presented by Adena Health System, once again led the Prospect League in both overall attendance and average attendance for the recently-completed 2018 season.
This season, the Paints hosted an average of 1,884 fans per game, more than any other Prospect League team for the fifth consecutive season and the sixth time overall. The Paints averaged more than 100 fans per game more than the team with the second-highest average.
"We are grateful and humbled by the support we get from our incredible fans every season," said Chillicothe Paints managing partner Bryan Wickline. "Leading the Prospect League in attendance five years in a row is a testament to the hard work by our entire staff and shows the loyalty of our dedicated fans."
This season, Chillicothe's total attendance was 56,534 over 30 home games, more than 13,400 more than the team with the second-highest total attendance this past season. It's the ninth time in the ten-year history of the Prospect League that the Paints have had the largest total attendance.
"We are very proud to call southern Ohio the home of the Paints," Wickline added. "It's a special place that has been a pleasure to operate in for 26 seasons. We can't wait for the 27th."
According to a list compiled by Ballpark Digest ( www.ballparkdigest.com ) of summer collegiate teams from across the country, the Paints ranked 18th in the nation in terms of average attendance. The Paints ranked 12th nationally in total attendance.
