ATLANTA - Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl fullback Ovie Mughelli will perform the National Anthem prior to the Georgia Force game at the Arena at Gwinnett Center Friday, April 8.

Kickoff for Friday night's matchup against the Dallas Vigilantes is set for 8:00 p.m., and the contest will be featured on the NFL Network "Arena Football Friday" high-definition primetime telecast.

Mughelli began singing at an early age and has been one of the original members of the NFL Players Choir since its inception in 1999. The 32-member group has performed annually in the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration for over a decade.

The Georgia Force and the Ovie Mughelli Foundation have partnered to donate tickets to a Georgia Force game to the youth of the Boys and Girls Club in Lawrenceville, Ga. Mughelli is currently teaching environmental responsibility to the children as part of his Eco-Champions Sustainability Club (aka OWL chapter).

During his playing career, the eight-year NFL veteran was recently selected for the 2011 Pro Bowl, becoming the first Atlanta Falcons fullback to receive the honors.
