OurSports Central Names UFL PLayers of the Week

Sacramento Mountain Lions quarterback McLeod Bethel Thompson, Sacramento linebacker Mike Tauiliili and Virginia Destroyers punter Matt Henry were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for week five of the UFL season.
Thompson was 25-46 passing for 260 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception in the Mountain Lions' 27-20 overtime victory over the Virginia Destroyers. Thompson played at Sacramento State and was in training camp with the San Francisco 49ers this year.
Tauiliili tallied seven total tackles, two for a loss, and one fumble recovery in the Mountain Lions win. Tauiliili played college football at Duke.
Henry had six punts for an average of 53.8 yards. His longest punt went for 64 yards in the Destroyers loss to the Mountain Lions. Henry played college football at New Hampshire.
