LANCASTER, Calif. - The JetHawks begin the 2014 season with an exciting homestand to match one of the most exciting teams rosters in Minor League Baseball. The Lake Elsinore Storm arrive in Lancaster today to open the season tonight at 6:30 p.m. The JetHawks take on the San Jose Giants in the final three games of the homestand.
Special Events:
Opening Night: The season opener is always extra special and this season you can capture all the memories with a JetHawks magnet schedule picture frame. Opening Night also coincides with Throw 'Em Back Thursdays so you'll have the chance to take advantage of great deals at the concession stands like $2 beers, $2 hot dogs, $2 nachos and $2 sodas.
Team Poster Giveaway: Don't miss out on your chance to grab a JetHawks team poster featuring the previous two first overall picks in the MLB Draft, Carlos Correa and Mark Appel.
Craft Beer Night: Join the JetHawks and the Kinetic Brewing Company for the first-ever Craft Beer Night at The Hangar. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free JetHawks pint glass. Over 15 craft beers from the Antelope Valley and around the world will be on tap and tasting will be available in the brand new Pilots Pavilion. Game time is 6 p.m.
Weekly Promotions:
Family in the Park Sunday/Autism Awareness Day: Come out early and play catch on the field before Sunday's 2 p.m. game and grab autographs from JetHawks players. Kids 12 and under get to run the bases following the game. It will also be Autism Awareness Day to precede next week's Autism Awareness Walk at The Hangar.
Make A Difference Monday: Donate dog toys, bones, blankets, dog bowls and leashes (all in good condition) and receive a free ticket to the game against the San Jose Giants. All items will be donated to Guide Dogs of America.
Two-4-Tuesdays: Enjoy great deals at the box office and the concession stands. But two preferred grandstand tickets and get two free. Bring your appetite because you can buy two hamburgers or chicken sandwiches and get two free.
Local Heroes Wednesday: All first responders can buy tickets for half price every Wednesday home game this season. The deal applies to L.A. County Sheriffs, CHP, L.A. County Fire, EMT's and active and retired military.
