FRISCO, TX. : In what is becoming a Thunder tradition, we have once again shown that when an IFL team enters onto Thunder turf, they will get struck by lighting and that is all too clear with a score of Frisco Thunder 70 and Centex Barracuda's 19. This brings the Frisco Thunders to a (7-3) record and will face off against the Odessa Roughnecks this weekend, where we plan on showing them why Frisco is the Team to Beat and why we will be in the playoffs!
Moving on UP: Quarterback Dustin Almond, who has thrown over 40 touchdowns and 1800 yards has shown that he knows how to get the ball down the field with throwing 6 more TD passes this past game and is becoming a leader among quarterbacks in the IFL League. Defensive lineman Nathan Jackson, who recorded three sacks this past game added another 2 onto his record which will lend concern to the offensive team of the Roughnecks in this upcoming weekends game. Another player that has shown his dedication and commitment to the team is Jonathan Makonnen who had 3 TD receptions and ran for 1 TD shutting out the Barracuda's. This is the second week the offense has scored over 70 points and the second time this season they have blocked the opponent from scoring over 20 points!

This night will be extremely special as our own Brianne Garrett with the Frisco Thunder will be making this half time special by honoring the men and women of our military.
