
Omaha Beef Announce Open Player Tryouts

Omaha, NE, November 19, 2013: The Omaha Beef Indoor Football Team has announced that they will hold open tryouts for players interested in playing for the 2014 season on November 23, 2013 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the UNO Dome. The UNO Dome is located at 68th & Spring Street. Registration will begin at 4:00 p.m. Players are asked to bring athletic indoor turf shoes as well as the $50** registration fee (**$40 if they pre-register). They will be expected to perform a 40-yard dash as well as a variety of drills to access their agility, speed, etc. Visit www.beeffootball.com for more information on registration.
The Beef will play their games for the second year in a row at the new, state of the art, Ralston Arena. The arena, which opened in the fall of 2012 is a 3500-seat venue centrally located off I-80 at 72nd Street in Omaha. Previously, the team played for 13 years at the Omaha Civic Auditorium, making the Beef one of the oldest franchises in arena football.
Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets fast and visit the Ralston Arena to personally select their seats. Omaha will play one pre-season and six regular season games in the new Champions Professional Indoor Football League. Opponents include geographical rivals like Sioux City, Wichita and Lincoln.
