
Ohio Machine Activate Tanner Griffin

COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Ohio Machine have announced the addition of Tanner Griffin to the 25-man roster as well as the activation of those who participated at the 2018 FIL World Championships.
Griffin, a Loveland, Ohio native, played four seasons at Hofstra, starting 47 games during his career. The defenseman tied the team lead with 10 caused turnovers during his senior season and ended his career with the Pride with 98 groundballs and 35 caused turnovers. Griffin was a two-time All-CAA second team selection and CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient.
Frank Brown, Marcus Holman, and Tom Schreiber have all been added to the roster off of the World Games Inactive List. Brown earned a bronze medal with the Iroquois Nationals while Holman and Schreiber earned gold with Team USA. Mark Matthews, who earned silver with Canada, has been moved to the practice squad.
In a corresponding move, the Machine have moved Dominick Calisto to the practice squad. Kyle Cain and John Yozzo-Scaperrotta have been released to the player pool.
