Oakland Roots and KOFY TV Launch "Know Your Roots” TV Show

Oakland Roots Sports Club alongside English broadcast television partner KOFY TV set to launch Know Your Roots TV Show. The show is set to debut on May 30th at 6pm on KOFY TV channel 20 (Xfinity channel 713, Dish channel 20, Direct channel 20). The show will air on the last Sunday of every month and will feature stories on Oakland Roots, the Oakland Community, and the intersection of Sports and Community.

"Creating content and telling stories about our local community is a big part of who we are as a club," said Roots CMO Edreece Argahndiwal. "We are very excited about the partnership with KOFY and the potential for the Know Your Roots TV show. The ability to tell our story and the story of our surrounding community and partners on a highly respected local independent station is something that we are incredibly proud to debut."

Episode one will feature behind the scenes moments from the first two away trips as well as look forward to the month of June and the home opener at Laney College on June 19th.

Roots fans will be able to tune in to KOFY to watch Oakland Roots away games on June 2nd and June 12th as well as for 15 more home games that will be aired throughout the season.
