The Pride look to rebound in their home opener, while the Beauts are still looking for their first victory.
Here's what you need to know about this weekend in the NWHL.
Sunday, November 22, 2015 3:00 PM: New York Riveters at Boston Pride (Bright-Landry Hockey Center)
Game Story: Last week, the Riveters picked up their first win in franchise history thanks to Nana Fujimoto's 42 save performance in net. The Riveters goaltender was also named league Player of the Week as a result. The Pride are led by NWHL scoring leaders Hilary Knight and Brianna Decker, who both have seven points. Decker missed last week's action due to an upper body injury.
3:30 PM: Connecticut Whale at Buffalo Beauts (HarborCenter)
Game Story: The two clubs met last Sunday with the Whale sneaking out a 3-2 victory on a Danielle Ward goal with 55 seconds left. Kelli Stack (CTW) is ranked second in the NWHL in scoring with six points while Kaleigh Fratkin is tied for third with five points. Kelley Steadman is currently second in the league in goals with four while teammate Meghan Duggan is tied for the league lead in assists (4).
