With Veterans Day right around the corner, the Riveters will team up with Defending The Blue Line to host Military Appreciation Night on Sunday, November 15th at 7:00 pm. New York will swap their traditional white sweaters for limited edition camo jerseys to honor past and present members of the military.
Autographed, game worn jerseys will be available to bid on online after the game. 50 percent of the auction will help support Defending The Blue Line, which ensures that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey. This comes through free equipment for children, camps, special events and financial assistance.
Those presenting a military I.D., VA card or DD-2014 will receive 1/2 off tickets ($10) at the door. Purple Heart recipients are admitted for free.
