NATIONAL WOMEN'S FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION NAMES OFFICIAL STATISTICS SERVICE

Willoughby, OH - As part of the ongoing effort by the National Women's Football Association (NWFA) to better serve their fans and media, the NWFA has selected Ohio-based webgamestats.com as the "Official Web-based Sports Statistics Service of the NWFA."

As a result of this partnership, visitors to the league web site (womensfootballassociation.com) may now view and research all available league statistics. Using webgamestats.com's innovative design, the stats are presented in an easy to navigate form where visitors can quickly find the answers to the most obscure question. Along with providing the NWFA with its statistics portal, all 36 NWFA teams will be provided their own sports portal that will detail the statistical history of each franchise.

"There's no better way to serve the needs of the fans and media than to combine information normally found in a printed media guide with the power of the web to produce that same information in an up-to-the-minute dynamic format," says George Hoffman, designer of the service and president of webgamestats.com.

The agreement with the NWFA coincides with the official launch of webgamestats.com. Beyond this specific design for the NWFA, webgamestats.com offers numerous web-based sports services to meet the individual entity statistics tracking and distribution needs. Webgamestats.com various offerings provide affordable solutions for teams at the professional, collegiate and scholastic levels.

"Webgamestats.com offers an excellent vehicle to market the successes of your athletes, coaches, and entire sports program," says Hoffman. "First, you're establishing a web presence for your program and its athletes, taking it to a level previously reserved for athletes in the professional sports world. Second, by providing this unprecedented level of access to game and individual athletes' statistics, you're attracting supporters to a website that's current and drives their interest and loyalty to a team. It's really a win-win situation, for the coaches, the supporters, the athletes, their friends and families, and for the schools and sports programs." Core sports being offered during webgamestats.com's initial launch include basketball, baseball, football and softball. Additional sports will be added as the service matures. Hoffman, former Information Technology Director for the Cleveland Browns (1982-96), expects webgamestats.com to offer as many as 12 sports by the end of 2005. Soon to be released sports include lacrosse, soccer and tennis.

Webgamestats.com is a service of Sports Software Solutions, Inc., providing PC and web-based solutions to the amateur; scholastic and professional sports communities since 1996.
