March 28, 2002 - National Women's Basketball League (NWBL) News Release
The Birmingham Power came out of the gate with their mind on winning, and winning they were, leading by 24 points at the end of the first half.
With 8 minutes left in the game the Power led by 34 and a 68-34 score. TOO MUCH POWER is the only you could describe it as the Power beat the Atlanta Justice 85-55 to take third place in the NWBL PRO CUP 2002. Leading the way for the Power were the "magic" of the Miller twins, Kelly 16 and Coco 15, while Karyn Karlin scored 20. For Atlanta Keisha Anderson scored 17 and Natasha Anderson 16.
