NPF playoff dates set

AKRON, OHIO....The NPF playoffs have officially been set by the league, and will take place at Firestone Stadium in Akron, Ohio from August 25th to August 29th. The semi-finals will be a three-game series with the first-place team taking on the fourth-place team and the second-place team taking on the third-place team on August 25th, 26th, and 27th. The winners from the semi-finals will face off in a three-game final series on August 28th and 29th. A double-header will be played on the 29th if necessary.

With the end of the regular season on August 18th nearing, the Texas Thunder (34-15) is currently in first place, the Akron Racers (33-17) in second, the NY/NJ Juggernaut (32-18) in third, the New England Riptide (21-30) in fourth, the Arizona Heat (16-34) in fifth, and the California Sunbirds (14-36) in sixth.
Ticket prices for individual games are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens, and $5 for students. For the whole series, tickets are $40 for adults, $35 for senior citizens, and $20 for students.
