NLL Champion's Cup Playoffs Update; playoff field & first round schedule finalized

The first-round matchups for the 2008 National Lacrosse League Champion's Cup Playoffs are now official. The Buffalo Bandits have won the East Division Title and home field throughout the playoffs as the top overall seed.
Buffalo is currently in a three-way tie atop the East Division standings at 10-6 with Minnesota and New York. Buffalo is 3-1 against the Swarm and Titans, winning season tiebreakers.
A Philadelphia win over Toronto on Sunday would improve the Wings to 10-6 as well, creating a four-way tie, however, Buffalo would still win all tiebreakers.
The Bandits will host the fourth-place Wings next Friday at HSBC Arena at 7:30 PM ET. The second-place Minnesota Swarm will host the third-place New York Titans next Saturday at 8:00 PM ET at Xcel Energy Center.
In the West, the San Jose Stealth defeated the Colorado Mammoth earlier today, 11-6, to claim the West Division Title. The Stealth will host the fourth-place Portland LumberJax on Sunday at 6:00 PM ET at HP Pavilion. The second-place Colorado Mammoth will host the third-place Calgary Roughnecks on Saturday at 9:00 PM ET at Pepsi Center.
The following is the final overall playoff seeding. The higher seeded team will host all playoff games, including the 2008 Edge NLL Championship Game on the weekend of May 16-18:
1 Buffalo (10-6) - East Division winner 2 San Jose (9-7) - West Division winner 3 Minnesota (10-6) 4 New York (10-6) 5 Philadelphia (currently 9-6, at Toronto on Sunday) 6 Colorado (9-7) 7 Calgary (currently 6-9, at Edmonton tonight) 8 Portland (6-10)
The Division Winners are automatically seeded first and second overall. The overall seedings are final, regardless of the outcome of the remaining regular season games.
