
NLL Announces Season Opening Game

The National Lacrosse League will begin the 2003-2004 regular season on Friday, December 26th, 2003. The opening night game features Arizona hosting the Vancouver Ravens at the Glendale Arena, in suburban Phoenix. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30pm local time.
The Vancouver-Arizona NLL season opener will be part of the Grand Opening Weekend of the new Glendale Arena, which will serve as home of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and the Arizona NLL franchise. The Grand Opening Weekend of December 26th-28th will be highlighted by the arena's first-ever NHL regular season game, a showdown between the hometown Phoenix Coyotes and the Nashville Predators on Saturday, Dec. 27th.
The league will release the complete regular season schedule next week.
