Norfolk Nighthawks News Release
NORFOLK -- The Norfolk Nighthawks started their 2003 campaign with a strong shot, as they handled the Charleston Swamp Foxes for a convincing 31-21 victory in front of 3,500 screaming fans at Norfolk Scope. Nighthawks QB Aaron Sparrow completed 16 for 29 and threw for 122 yards and three scores.
Norfolk's stingy defense held the potent Swamp Fox QB Major Harris to one touchdown and their constant defensive pressure forced Harris into two interceptions. The Nighthawks defenders did their job as "damage control" in Head Coach Rick Frazier's new Nighthawks vision.
