Nighthawks Bring in Coach Just for the Kickers

NORFOLK, March 12, 2003 -- The Norfolk Nighthawks would like to announce that Doug Whittaker has signed on as the team¹s kicking instructor for the 2003 season.
Whittaker, the organizer of the former Tidewater Kicking Camp (currently, the Doug Whittaker Kicking Camp) has helped to develop a number of high school kickers and punters. A former head coach at East and West Preston High School in West Virginia, he has also coached at Glenville State College.
Doug will be working with the Nighthawks kickers for the first time. Coach Whittaker resides in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake. For more information, call the Nighthawks offices at 626-0500.
