Lafayette La... Week 9 Players of the Week have been selected. From the Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week goes to Dusty Bonner of the Lexington Horsemen. Bonner through for 251 yards and 8 touchdowns in their win over the Stingrays. Defensive Player of the Week goes to Eddie Bynes of the Ohio Valley Greyhounds. Bynes contributed to the Greyhounds win with 4 sacks and 8 tackles on the night. Special Teams Player of the Week honors goes to kicker, Clint Sanford of the Lake Charles Landsharks. Sandford contributed 15 of the 21 points scored in Saturday's game.
The Pacific Conference Offensive Player of the Week goes Roger Linn of the Tri-City Diesel. Linn threw for 182 yards and 8 touchdowns in their win Saturday. The Defensive Player of the Week is Almonyse Boyles of the Rapid City Reddogs. Boyles had 3 sacs, 8 tackles, and 1 pass deflected in their win Saturday. Special Teams Player of the Week honors go to Anthony Simmons of the Wyoming Cavalry. Simmons had 5 kickoff returns for 117 yards on the night.
