Total attendance for the season was 600,714 and games averaged 20,024 fans per game, the highest mark in the six-team league's history. NFL Europa joins soccer as the only team sports leagues in Europe to average at least 20,000 fans this year.

SEASON ATTENDANCE AVERAGE

2007 20,024

2005 18,965

2001 18,573

2000 18,102

2002 18,045

"I'm very happy that we were able to achieve a new attendance record with more than 600,000 fans in our stadiums this season," said NFL Europa Managing Director UWE BERGHEIM. "I would like to thank the fans, our sponsors and league employees who made this possible. With these positive numbers, we are looking forward to a successful Yello Strom World Bowl XV on Saturday."

The Frankfurt Galaxy led the league with an average of 33,043 fans per game at Commerzbank Arena, the site of Yello Strom World Bowl XV. Frankfurt, which had a perfect 5-0 regular-season record at home, will face the Hamburg Sea Devils in the league's championship game on Saturday, June 23 (1:00 PM ET, NFL Network).

"We have the greatest fans in the world," says Galaxy linebacker MATT SINCLAIR. "The noise they provide is such an advantage for us."
