
Nationals to Do 'Civic' Duty in Burlington August 1st

(Hamilton, July 28)... Want to meet some of the best lacrosse players in the world' Then head to the Joseph Brant Day Festival in Burlington on Monday, August 1st and meet members of the Major League Lacrosse Hamilton Nationals.
The Nats players will host a shooting and skills demonstration throughout the day, along with interaction for kids of all ages to shoot and learn from the pros. Make sure to stop by and visit with the cheerleaders and spin the wheel to win prizes.
The annual Civic Holiday celebration at La Salle Park runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fans can also purchase tickets for the Nationals' regular season home finale on August 6th. Joseph Brant Day is a heritage festival put on by Burlington's Joseph Brant Museum to celebrate the legacy of our city's original settler, Joseph Brant Thayendanegea. The event includes live entertainment, music, special historic re-enactments and demonstrations, exhibitors, displays, interactive activities, games, artisans, crafters and other attractions.
