Nationals Open Training Camp Saturday

The Hamilton Nationals will open their 2013 Major League Lacrosse Training Camp on Saturday, April 20th at Ron Joyce Stadium at McMaster University. The Nationals will hit the field from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. to kick off their fifth season.
Hamilton will hold two practices this weekend with the second session set for Sunday, April 21st from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Both Training Camp days are free and open to the public.
Head Coach Dave Huntley will have 10 returning players for the first weekend of camp, including starting goalie Brett Queener, and veterans Sol Bliss and Donny Moss. Recently acquired midfielder Roy Lang and attackman Martin Cahill will join their new team Saturday as well.
Huntley returns as the team's head coach for the first time since the 2010 season. He led the Nats to their only MLL title in 2009. Hamilton has advanced to the MLL Finals in two of the last four seasons, including advancing to the 2011 title game. This season, the Nationals return high-scoring stars in Joe Walters, Cody Jamieson, Kevin Crowley and Jordan Hall, along with six-time Defensive Player of the Year Brodie Merrill.
The Nationals are set to play six home games at Ron Joyce Stadium at McMaster University during the 2013 season. The home opener is set for Saturday, May 11th against the New York Lizards at 7:30 p.m.
Individual tickets are currently on sale online and by calling (905) 525-NATS. Prices range from $20 VIP seats to $5.00 student/senior general admission tickets. Premium seats are also available for $15, while general admission seats are affordably priced at $10 per game. Kids under 12 are admitted free.
