Nationals Go Orange; Activate SU's Keogh

(Hamilton, Ontario)... The Hamilton Nationals announced today that the team has placed attackman Stephen Keogh on the Active Roster and placed defenseman Sid Smith on the Practice Roster.

Keogh, who starred at Syracuse University, was Hamilton's fifth-round selection (25th overall) in the 2011 MLL Collegiate Draft. He received Second Team All-American honors in 2011 after earning honorable mention status the past two years. The 2011 BIG EAST Attack Player of the Year led the Orange in goals (33) and tied for the team lead in points (41). He finished his career ninth in Syracuse history with 133 goals. The Toronto native won back-to-back national titles with the Orange (2008 and 2009).

The Nationals will host the Chesapeake Bayhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16th. The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN3.com. It is a battle for third place as both teams enter the game with identical 4-3 records.
