Nationals Add Two Players off Waivers

The Hamilton Nationals claimed two players through the Major League Lacrosse Waiver Wire today, selecting 2012 Third Team All-Americans Roman Lao-Gosney and Dana Wilber.

Wilber, who is from Penn Yan, NY was a two-time team captain at Drexel University. This season, he earned the Colonial Athletic Association's Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-CAA honors. The defenseman finished with 18 caused turnovers and 31 ground balls, both second on the team . He ended his career by playing in the North-South All-Star Game. In high school, he played for Nationals' Assistant Coach Brian Hobart at Penn Yan Academy.

Lao-Gosney p layed his college ball at Lehigh University and finished his senior season with a career-high 20 goals and 26 points, which was good for third on the team. The Raymond, Maine native earned First Team All-Patriot League honors and was also an Academic All-Patriot League member for a second straight season. The Lehigh co-captain finished the season with 13 groundballs and three caused turnovers.
