Nashville Broncs Hang On To Top Spot

December 23, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release


Indianapolis, IN. The ABA Nashville Broncs have held the #1 position in the ABA Power Rankings despite a loss to the strong Kentucky Bisons this past week.

According to Pierre Hall, Chairman of the ABA Power Rankings Committee, "For the first time, the Broncs have been closely challenged by both the Southeast Texas Mustangs and the Texas Fuel (formerly the South Texas Showboats) for the number one position. There was only a small margin of difference based on our ratings formula - and the Maywood Buzz and Cleveland Rockers were very close behind them. We have some very strong teams and there was a lot of movement this week."
