Tupelo, MS November 14, 2006 - The Mississippi Mudcats Indoor Football Team in Tupelo, MS announce the signing of five players for the 2007 football season.
Dion Rheubottom 5-9 180 DB Delaware State
Dion brings to do Mudcats true cover corner skills, while at Delaware he became a 2005 2nd team All MEAC pick.
Jimmy Strong 6-1 185 WR Louisville
Jimmy is a native of Tampa FL. Played at the university of Louisville in 2004 were he started at wideout. Jimmy brings a combination of good hands, size, and speed.
Sammy Doughty 6-3 215 DB Florida A&M
A native of Shannon, MS. Also a former Mississippi JC All State and a 2005 All MEAC Selection at FAMU.
Alexander Johnson 6-2 295 DL Amory MS
A local talent from Amory MS. Who brings Indoor Football experience to the Mudcats.
William Stewart 6-0 295 OL Mississippi Valley State
A native of Tupelo MS. William is a physically dominated center who brings Indoor Football experience to the Mudcats.
