Mississippi Mudcats News Release
The Mudcats headed to Erie, PA with a stop in Canton, OH. The team looking forward to the regular season finale took time on Friday to go to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Our boys got to see the new exhibit on Arena Football and Super Bowl Rings and fanned the flames inside for their chance at a championship. Team Sprit was in the air as the Mudcats took the field Saturday night and one time back up Quarterback Bart Gloyd took total control in his first Pro start ever leading the Mudcats to a 53 - 47 win.
The story behind the scenes was Tommy Jones taking a back up role for the first time this year. He mentored Bart all week and during the game. "It was a fantastic display of team sprit" Owner Todd Ellis said. The Cats return home for the first ever Pro Football playoff is North Mississippi history. The game is set for Sunday, June 10th at 4:30 p.m. The Mudcats are partnering with AFR and AJS for Gridiron Glory Day celebrating our faith in the Lord. Tickets are on sale at the BancorpSouth Arena or call 662-841-6528. Call Jessica at 662-842-1791 for group tickets.
