Montréal Alliance Sign American Forward Green for 2022 Season

Montréal, QC - The Montréal Alliance announced Wednesday that they have signed American small forward Dominic Green for the 2022 season of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).

The six-foot-six American is currently completing the 2021-2022 season in the German Pro A league with Vfl SparkassenStars Bochum. Green is his team's leading scorer and ranks fourth in the league with an average of 19.4 points per game. The forward also averages 1.7 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 29.5 minutes per game while shooting 49.6 percent from the field and 36.2 percent from the three-point line.

Green played the 2020-2021 season in the Slovak Basketball League with Iskra Svit where he finished the campaign as the team's second-best scorer. In fact, the American averaged 16.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, while making 40 percent of his shots from the three-point line. During his two seasons in Europe, Green recorded 12 games with 25 or more points including eight times since October 2021.

A native of Washington State, Green played his college career with the Huskies at the University of Washington in the NCAA's division 1. During his four collegiate seasons, Green averaged 4.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.5 assist and 19.0 minutes per game in 128 appearances.

Prior to leaving for Europe and right upon graduating, Green played two games in the NBA G League with the Golden State Warriors' affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors.

The American forward joins guards Kemy Osse and Isiah Osborne as the third player to sign a contract with the Canadian Elite Basketball League expansion franchise. Green and the Montréal Alliance will begin training camp for the 2022 CEBL season May 16. Fans will have the opportunity to see Green play 10 times this summer at the new Verdun Auditorium.
