Montreal-Based ROCKET SPORT Becomes An Official Sponsor of the NWHL

Montreal-based ROCKET SPORT has signed on to become an official sponsor of the National Women's Hockey League.
ROCKET SPORT is the maker of sports equipment drying products that are very popular with athletes in the U.S. and Canada in hockey, lacrosse, football and other sports. Their tagline is, "ROCKET SPORT...Keeping Athletes Healthy, Dry & Bacteria Free."
As part of the agreement, the company will supply each of the more than 100 players in the NWHL with one of its ROCKET SPORT ROCKET DRYERS.
"ROCKET SPORT is really pleased and proud to support the advancement of professional women's hockey in North America as a sponsor of the NWHL," said company CEO Domenico Ciarallo. "I've seen the significant strides the league has made, and I have deep respect for the many outstanding players from my home country of Canada, the U.S. and other parts of the world that are part of the NWHL. There will be more good things to come in the partnership between the NWHL and ROCKET SPORT."
"The sponsorship of the NWHL by ROCKET SPORT is not only fantastic for the league, but it also addresses a need of the players," said NWHLPA executive director Anya Battaglino. "One of the things we heard from PA reps this season was that, with everyone's schedules, it would be so valuable for the players to have efficient drying stations. As part of this sponsorship, Domenico and the team at ROCKET SPORT went above and beyond and said, "How about we take it further and provide every player in the NWHL with a personal dryer?' Now, that's a gentleman and a company stepping up to demonstrate true support of women's sports. We thank ROCKET SPORT for their belief in the NWHL and the athletes."
