Fresno, Calif. - MONSTERS WEEKLY is a weekly review of everything Monsters Hockey: weekend game recap, player and goalie stats, player spotlight, and upcoming events.

The NAHL and WSHL Monsters are on the road this weekend. The NAHL Monsters play the Texas Tornado Friday at 5:30pm P.S.T. at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas. They travel to Amarillo to take on the Amarillo Bulls on Saturday at 5:00pm P.S.T. at the Amarillo Civic Center. The Monsters will wrap up their Texas road trip with a two-game set against the Odessa Jackalopes on Friday and Saturday, February 3 and 4 at 5:05pm P.S.T. at the Ector County Coliseum.

The WSHL Monsters head to Peoria, Arizona this weekend to take on the Arizona Redhawks in a three-game set. The teams play Friday and Saturday at 5:50pm P.S.T. and Sunday at 10:30am P.S.T.

$7 tickets (+ tax) are available for the rest of the regular season and are on sale now at the Selland Arena box office and all Ticketmaster locations. Groups of 20 people get tickets for $130. NAHL Fresno Monsters vs. Wenatchee Wild

Town Toyota Center - Wenatchee, WAFri., 1/20/12 - Wild 4, Fresno 2:

The Fresno Monsters lost some ground in the division standings on Friday, falling to the Wenatchee Wild by a score of 4-2.

Sat., 1/21/12 - Fresno 3, Wild 2:

The Monsters turned things around Saturday night, defeating the Wild by a score of 3-2 to regain their two points in the standings.

NAHL Fresno Monsters vs. Kenai River Brown Bears

Selland Arena - Fresno, CA

Mon., 1/23/12 - Fresno 3, Brown Bears 2 (Overtime):

The Fresno Monsters defeated the Kenai River Brown Bears at Selland Arena by a score of 3-2 in overtime. Mark Bittner came through with his first goal of the season to give the Monsters the win and the extra point in the standings.

Tues., 1/24/12 - Brown Bears 3, Fresno 1:

Sunday's game was rescheduled to Tuesday at Gateway Ice Center. Tuesday's game was a defensive battle, but the Kenai River Brown Bears came out on top by a score of 3-1. Kenai River led 2-1 before adding an empty net goal to seal their win.

NAHL PLAYER SPOTLIGHT

BRENDAN BRADLEY: Bradley is riding an 8-game, 11-point streak dating back to January 7th. He had an assist Friday and a goal Saturday in Wenatchee against the Wild. He assisted on the game-winning overtime goal against Kenai River on Monday night and scored the team's only goal on Tuesday.

TOMAS SHOLL: Sholl had a great weekend against the Wenatchee Wild and the Kenai River Brown Bears. On Saturday stopped 39 of 41 Wenatchee shots on net, holding them scoreless on all 7 of their power play chances. He also had a combined save percentage of .911 in the two games played against Kenai River.

RILEY BORER: Borer is second on the team in scoring with 26 points. He notched a goal and an assist in Friday's game against Wenatchee and added two more assists Saturday night.
