NAHL Fresno Monsters vs. Alaska Avalanche
Selland Arena - Fresno, CA
Friday, 11/18/2011 - Avalanche 2, Monsters 1:
Fresno Monsters fell short to the Alaska Avalanche with a final score of 2-1. Monsters defense held Alaska to only 21 shots on goal but was not enough for the Monsters to gain a victory.
Saturday, 11/19/2011 - Avalanche 3, Monsters 2 (shootout loss):
The Alaska Avalanche went on to defeat the Monsters in a 5 round overtime shootout, winning the extra point in the standings with a 3-2 win.
NAHL PLAYER SPOTLIGHT
KYLE SUCHER: Sucher scored the only goal in Friday night's game against the Alaska Avalanche. He also scored the Monsters' first goal on the power play Saturday night. He was awarded the 3rd star of the game on Friday.
JESSE DURFEE: Durfee scored the Monsters' second goal on Saturday night on the power play against the Alaska Avalanche. He was awarded the 3rd star of the game on Saturday.
MICHAEL HARRIS: Harris had an assist both Friday and Saturday night against the Alaska Avalanche.
