Vs. Fairbanks Ice Dogs ¬" Selland Arena ¬" Fresno, CA
WEDNESDAY, 12/15/2010: The Monsters dropped a decision to the Fairbanks Ice Dogs by a final score of 7-3.
FRIDAY, 12/17/2010: The Monsters suffered another regulation loss at the hands of the Fairbanks Ice Dogs, this time by a final score of 4-2.
SATURDAY, 12/18/2010: The 1st place Fairbanks Ice Dogs completed the sweep of the Monsters, finishing the series by a final score of 3-1.
Fresno Monsters WSHL News:
The Fresno Monsters WSHL team finished the weekend ¬â¢s WSHL Showcase in Las Vegas with a record of 1-2-1. Thursday they suffered a 4-2 loss to the El Paso Rhinos, Friday ¬â¢s game was a 5-0 win over the Boulder Bison, Saturday suffered a 4-1 loss to the Idaho Jr. Steelheads, and Sunday dropped a close one in an overtime shootout by a final score of 5-4 to the Helena Big Horns.
PLAYER SPOTLIGHT
MATT COLEMAN: Coleman, a new addition to the team from the tier I USHL ¬â¢s Waterloo Black Hawks, had an impressive weekend. He scored a penalty shot goal on Wednesday and an assist on Friday and Saturday.
JEFFREY PAULUK: Pauluk recorded a goal on Wednesday night and an assist on Friday night against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
MANNY GIALEDAKIS: Gialedakis scored an assist on Wednesday night and a goal on Friday night against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
