
Monsters' Goaltender Sholl Selected in USHL Entry Draft

Fresno, Calif. - The North American Hockey League Fresno Monsters' goaltender Tomas Sholl has been selected in the United States Hockey League's 2012 entry draft by the Fargo Force. He was selected in the 2nd round, 20th overall, the first pick for the North Dakota-based team.
Sholl, a 6-foot, 155 pound 17-year-old from Hermosa Beach, California, posted a record of 20-14-6 with 2 shutouts in his 2011-2012 rookie season for the Monsters in the NAHL. He finished the season with a goals against average of 2.38 and a .920 save percentage for the Monsters. Sholl also participated in the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Troy, Michigan. During his time in Fresno with the Monsters, he committed to Bowling Green State University of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
