Fresno Monsters News Release

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Monsters Hockey Team is pleased to announce the expansion of the front office sales staff with the addition of Chris Catanzaro. Chris, a native of Port Huron, Michigan, has previously worked in Fresno for the semi-professional hockey team as the Director of Ticketing and Community Relations from 2003 through 2006 at the Save Mart Center and Selland Arena. He also spent a season with Fresno's former professional arena football team, the Central Valley Coyotes at Selland Arena as Director of Public Relations and Sales.

After leaving Fresno, Chris spent the 2008-2009 season with the Mississippi River Kings in the Central Hockey League before being hired by the Johnstown Chiefs in the ECHL. After the Chiefs relocated, he moved on to the Bossier Shreveport Mudbugs in the Central Hockey League. It was both an exciting and disappointing 2010-2011 season, as the Bossier team captured the CHL championship and days later folded the organization. Chris then went on to work for the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL and the Allen Wranglers of the United Indoor Football League.

"I'm excited to be back in Fresno," Chris Catanzaro explains. "The Fresno Monsters have a great organization, and I am happy to be a part of it."
