Monday is Meet the Phantoms Day at the Chevrolet Centre

YOUNGSTOWN, OH (Friday, November 7th, 2008) - The Mahoning Valley Phantoms will be hosting a "Meet the Phantoms" event this Monday, November 10th, at the Chevrolet Centre.
The event will run from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Throughout the day, fans will be able to meet and greet their favorite Phantoms players inside the Chevrolet Centre in downtown Youngstown. Team coaches and staff will also be on hand to welcome the fans to the Phantoms' home for the 2008-2009 season.
During the event, fans will be able to buy season tickets and pick their seats for the Phantoms' 21-game schedule at the Chevrolet Centre. Season ticket packages are available for six different tiers of seating, ranging in price from $218.50 to $602.50. Ten-game flex plans are also available.
Phantoms Head Coach and General Manager sees the event as a great chance for local fans to try before they buy.
"It's an opportunity for the fans to come out and really meet these players," says Mainhardt. "There have been a lot of questions about this team and about this level of hockey; this event will give the sports fans of the Valley a chance to see us first-hand before we play on Friday."
Local businesses are also invited to attend, where they can see all of the sponsorship opportunities still available for the current season.
The event is part of the team's run-up to its Chevrolet Centre-opening weekend on Friday, November 14th, and Saturday, November 15th, against the St. Louis Bandits. The two-game series will be a rematch of the last two Robertson Cup finals. Both games are scheduled for a 7:15 PM puck drop.
