Battle Creek Revolution News Release
(Battle Creek, Mi) The Battle Creek Revolution hockey club, proud members of the All American Hockey League, is happy to announce the team has come to an agreement with Ky Moje for the 2010-2011 season. The speedy Minnesota native will embark on his second pro season with the Revolution. Per club policy, details of the agreement will not be disclosed.
The skilled forward suited up for the Revolution in the 2009-2010 season as a rookie, netting an impressive 64 points (30 goals, 34 assists) skating in 42 games. Moje played two junior seasons with two different teams before suiting up for the pro hockey club. In his first junior season, Moje skated with the Southern Minnesota Express in the NAHL skating 11 games scoring three points (1 goal, 2 assists) during the 2006-2007 season. He had a break out season in his second junior season skating with the Woodstock Slammers of the MJAHL scoring 60 points (33 goals, 27 assists) during the 2007-2008 season.
"I look forward to returning to Battle Creek with a great core of guys already returning from last year's team," stated Moje. "We have one goal as a team and that is to win the championship I would like to be part of the first team to bring Battle Creek its first professional hockey title."
Training camp opens on October 16th with players reporting for physicals. The Revolution will then hold two days of practice before their preseason schedule opens up with games against the Indiana Blizzard. The regular season begins on Friday October 22nd. The Revolution currently have seven players under contract for the 2010-11 season; Chris Affinati, Rob Schweyer, Matt Kinsella, Ryan Huggett, Dan Kohanchuk, Ryan Bond, and now Moje. The Revolution also have five players under training camp agreements from the AAHL Free Agent. The Battle Creek Revolution Hockey Club is a proud member of the All American Hockey League, a Midwest based Single A Professional hockey league.
