
MLL Week Seven Players of the Week

Boston, MA - Brendan Sunday of the Atlanta Blaze and Alex Spring of the New York Lizards were named Warrior Players of the Week for Week Seven. Outlaws rookie Chris Aslanian was named Cascade Rookie of the Week.
Brendan Sunday was named Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for his performances against the Denver Outlaws and Boston Cannons this weekend. Sunday was outstanding this weekend, scoring eight goals and adding four assists. It is the first Player of the Week honor for Sunday in this his rookie season.
Alex Spring was named Warrior Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Boston Cannons. Spring picked up two ground balls, but his biggest contribution was shutting down early season MVP candidate Mark Cockerton. Cockerton came into the game scoring 4 goals per game. However, Spring held him to only one tally on the afternoon. It is Spring's first Player of the Week Honor this season.
Chris Aslanian was named Cascade Rookie of the Week for his fine play against the Atlanta Blaze. Aslanain scored four goals against the Blaze while adding one assist. Aslanian and the Outlaws won an 18-17 thriller on a last second Zach Currier goal. It is Aslanian's first Rookie of the Week honor this season.
