HAVE THEY STOPPED SCORING YET? - The 2008 All-Star Game was the highest-scoring game in the history of the annual exhibition as the two teams combined to score 46 points at INVESCO Field at Mile High. The Western Conference earned the victory by scoring a record-setting 31 points in a 31-15 victory over the Eastern Conference. The previous record was 42 points set in the 2001 LacrosseStar Game.

AN EVEN DOZEN - The Western Conference scored an All-Star Game record 12 points in the third quarter of their 31-15 victory last Thursday night in Denver. They scored 10 goals in the period, including a pair of two-point goals from Jake Byrne and Matt Hanna. The 10 goals also set an All-Star Game record for goals in a quarter.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH - After jumping out to a 12-5 lead at half-time, the Western Conference All-Stars exploded for 19 points after the intermission to set an All-Star Game record. They scored 16 goals in the second half, including three two-point markers. Denver Outlaws midfielder Ryan Powell scored four of his six goals in the second half.

SPEAKING OF SIX - The six goals scored by Denver's Ryan Powell on Thursday set an All-Star Game record, breaking the previous record of five goals, which was held by Gary Gait and Ryan Boyle. With his six-goal effort, Powell has moved into second place on the MLL All-Star Game career goals list, just one behind Gait's 11 career All-Star goals.

HERE'S SOME HELP - Long Island attackman Spencer Ford set an All-Star Game record with five assists for the Eastern Conference in Thursday night's All-Star Game. He also added a pair of goals in the 31-15 setback to tie the All-Star Game record for points in a game. He has 3 goals and 5 assists in two career All-Star appearances.

A BALANCED ATTACK - Chicago Machine attackman Kevin Leveille also tied the All-Star Game record for points in a game with a seven-point effort in the Western Conference's victory on Thursday night. He scored three goals with four assists in the victory. Leveille now has 10 goals and 5 assists in 4 career All-Star Game appearances. He is just one point shy of tying Mark Millon for the most points in All-Star Game history.

FIRE IN THE HOLE - Los Angeles Riptide midfielder Anthony Kelly tied a record in the Fastest Shot event during Thursday night's Bud Light All-Star Skills Competition. He won the event with a pair of shots that were recorded at 109 miles per hour. He tied the event record which was set by David Evans in 2004. Kelly also won 24 of 45 face-offs and tallied 13 ground balls in the game.

FLYING THROUGH THE AIR - Los Angeles Riptide attackman Chazz Woodson earned the Freestyle event title during the Bud Light All-Star Skills Competition by leaping over two children and placing a behind-the-back shot into the goal while in the air. His effort earned him the sixth-best Play of the Day during ESPN's SportsCenter broadcast on Thursday night.

NEXT ITEM UP FOR BIDS - The game jerseys which the All-Star players wore during Thursday's event at Denver will be auctioned off to benefit Special Olympics on the MLL's official website, www.majorleaguelacrosse.com. All 36 of the player's jerseys will be available for fans to bid on through August 15. In addition, Long Island defenseman Nicky Polanco will also donate the cleats he wore in the game to the auction. Last year's All-Star auction raised over $53,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project.

HOME SWEET HOME - The Denver Outlaws will be looking to become the third team in MLL history to complete a perfect home schedule when they host the Chicago Machine on Saturday. The Los Angeles Riptide and Philadelphia Barrage each finished 6-0 at home last year to set the record. They are averaging 16.0 goals per game at INVESCO Field at Mile High while drawing 11,425 fans per game. Since joining the league before the 2006 season, the Outlaws have recorded a 14-3 home record, including a 10-1 mark over the last two seasons.

YOU JUST CAN'T STOP HIM - Chicago Machine attackman Kevin Leveille extended his streak of consecutive games with a goal to 46 straight games after a two-goal, one-assist effort in the Machine's 17-13 victory over Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon. He was last held without a goal on August 5, 2004 against Baltimore when he was with the Boston Cannons. During the streak, Leveille has scored 137 goals with 36 assists.

ALL IN THE FAMILY - Chicago Machine attackman Kevin Leveille and his brother, Mike, have quickly become one of the top brother duos in Major League Lacrosse this year. Kevin leads the Machine with 29 goals and 10 assists while Mike has been one of the top rookie scorers this yar with 15 goals and 11 assists. Kevin and Mike Leveille are just one pair of brothers who have been successful in the MLL.

DÉJÀ VU? - For the second straight season, the Washington Bayhawks have struggled after getting off to a stellar start. After winning three of their first four games, the Bayhawks have dropped five straight games after a 14-10 loss against Boston on Saturday night. The Bayhawks lost six of their final seven games to end last year.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY SCORER - Denver midfielder Brian Langtry has been one of the most consistent scorers for the Western Conference-leading Outlaws this year, scoring 18 goals with 18 assists. He has scored three two-point goals this year and is tied for second in the MLL with 39 points.

He has 26 points this year, which is tied for second among MLL rookies with Chicago's Mike Leveille.

INSTANT IMPACT - Chicago Machine rookie Steven Brooks has been a welcome addition to the team's offense since being drafted with the sixth overall pick in the MLL Collegiate Draft. With 30 points, he leads all MLL rookies and is tied for 14th place overall in the league. He has scored 19 goals, including a pair of two-point markers, and has nine assists.

LEADER OF THE PACK - New Jersey Pride attackman Merrick Thomson became the first MLL player this season to reach 30 goals when he scored three goals against Rochester last week. He ranks fourth in the MLL with 37 points in nine games this year.
