Blast Notes - The defending champion Blast wrapped up its 2004-05 season with two losses: 7-6 to Cleveland in overtime on Friday and 11-8 in Milwaukee on Sunday...Leading scorer Giuliano Celenza finished 5th in the MISL with 49 pts...Celenza was also T-2nd with 8 ppg...Veteran F Lee Tschantret, who ended the season on a 7-game scoring streak, was T-14th with 42 pts, and ...Rookie GK Brian Rowland was 4th in the league with a .708 sv% and posted five 20-save performances...Baltimore was tied for last in the MISL in both offense (5.3 gpg) and defense (6.1)...The Blast led the league in average attendance (5,752 per game).

NOTABLE:
- Philadelphia KiXX goalkeeper Peter Pappas, Milwaukee Wave defender Pat White, and Cleveland Force forward Adauto Neto were named Players of the Week on Monday. On Tuesday, Pappas and the Cleveland duo of Genoni Martinez (Defensive) and Aaron Susi (Offensive) earned Player of the Month honors for April.
- Milwaukee's Greg Howes was officially awarded the 2004-05 Spalding Scoring Championship on Tuesday. Howes led all MISL players with 41 goals, 32 assists, and 73 points this season. The 28-year-old won both the Spalding Scoring Championship and the MISL Most Valuable Player Award in 2003-04.
- Milwaukee led the league in defense (4.4 goals allowed per game) for the fourth straight season. A Wave goalkeeper has held the lowest goals against average in the MISL each of those seasons, including Nick Vorberg (3.96 gaa) this season.
- Chicago Storm forward Nino DaSilva has a role in the film The Game of Their Lives, which opens in limited release this Friday, April 29. The film tells the story of the 1950 U.S. World Cup team and its memorable encounter with the mighty English team on June 19, 1950. DaSilva plays winger Eddie Souza.
- The Baltimore Blast is the first defending MISL Champion to miss the playoffs the season after winning a title since the 1993-94 Kansas City Attack (winners in 1992-93).
