Blast Notes - Following a 7-6 overtime loss to Kansas City on Friday and a 6-5 defeat in Chicago on Saturday, the defending champion Blast has officially been eliminated from playoff contention...F Giuliano Celenza is 5th in the league with 49 pts and T-2nd with 32 g...Celenza is also T-2nd with 8 ppg...GK Sagu has recorded a 3.81 goals against average and .779 save percentage in his last four games...F Lee Tschantret has scored in five straight games (3 g, 5 ast)...Since the start of February, Baltimore has gone 5-11...The Blast completes its season this weekend versus Cleveland (4/22) and at Milwaukee (4/24).

Storm Notes - After a 7-2 loss in Cleveland on Friday, the Storm remained alive in the playoff race with a 6-5 win over Baltimore on Saturday...MF Andy Rosenband scored the game-winner with 8 seconds left in Saturday's game; it was Rosenband's first goal since 3/13...F Novi Marojevic scored a hat trick in the game; he has scored 5 g and 6 pts in his last three games and ranks 6th in the MISL with 47 pts...F Mark Ughy is T-4th in the league with 30 g...Rookie GK Danny Waltman leads the league in minutes played (2,090) and is 3rd in saves (397)...The Storm needs to win on 4/23 in St. Louis and hope the Steamers lose their final two games to make the playoffs.

Steamers Notes - The Steamers lost their third straight game, 7-2 at home against Milwaukee on Saturday, but remain in excellent position to clinch a playoff berth this weekend...F Carlos "Chile" Farias is 2nd in the league with 58 pts...Farias has scored 17 points (7 goals, 10 assists) in his first 9 games with the team...Farias and F Daryl Doran are T-3rd in the league with 29 ast...Doran ranks 7th in the MISL with 46 pts...GK Brett Phillips is 3rd in the league with a 4.98 gaa...With a win this weekend, the Steamers would clinch a playoff berth-just one season after finishing 14-22. St. Louis is in Kansas City on 4/22 and hosts Chicago on 4/23.

NOTABLE:

- The 2005 MISL Championship Series Finals will be seen live in prime time on ESPN2. Game One of the Finals, will take place at 9:00 p.m. EST at U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee on Saturday, May 14. Game Two from Savvis Center in St. Louis will kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, May 21.

- The 2005 MISL Championship Series kicks off the weekend of April 29 - May 1.

- Milwaukee's Greg Howes has all but locked up the 2004-05 MISL Spalding Scoring Championship. Howes, last year's Scoring Champ with 85 points, is holding an eight-point lead (66 to 58) over St. Louis' Carlos "Chile" Farias entering the regular season's final weekend.

- The Philadelphia KiXX have drawn a total of 12,869 fans to their last two home games.

- Cleveland Force defender Genoni Martinez recorded the 500th block of his career in Sunday's 8-7 overtime win over Milwaukee.

- For the second straight season, a Milwaukee Wave goalkeeper will have the lowest goals against average in the MISL: Nick Vorberg enters the week with a sterling 3.75 gaa. Wave netminder Dan Green led the league in 2003-04 with a 4.02 gaa.
