Blast Notes - With an 8-6 win in Cleveland on Sunday, the Blast moved back to the .500 mark for the first time since October 16. It was the third win in a row for Baltimore... Brian Rowland saved 26 of 32 shots (.813 save percentage) in the win, earning MISL Goalkeeper of the Week honors... Rowland now leads the MISL with a .771 save percentage... Defender Scott Schweitzer was named Defensive Player of the Week after blocking five shots and recording an assist against the Force... The Blast blocked 22 shots in the victory... Lee Tschantret (2G, A) and Carlos Farias (G, 2A) both scored three points against Cleveland... Machel Millwood added a pair of goals... The Blast host the Philadelphia KiXX on 1/21.

Comets Notes - Kansas City dropped an 8-6 decision at home to St. Louis on Saturday but recovered with a 6-3 win in Chicago on Sunday... Offensive Player of the Week Miodrag Djerisilo led all MISL scorers over the weekend with six points (G, 5A)... Djerisilo recorded three assists on Saturday and a goal and two assists on Sunday... He is now fourth in the league with 12 assists... Kansas City's offense remains the most lethal in the league at 6.2 goals per game... The Comets' defense, however, ranks fifth, allowing 6.6 goals per game... Kansas City travels to St. Louis on 1/21... The Comets are 0-2 against the Steamers this season.

Vorberg is tied for the league lead with nine wins and ranks second with a 3.93 GAA... Milwaukee's defense is ranked second in the MISL, allowing 4.6 goals per game... D Chris Morman is tied for fifth in the league with 23 blocks... The Wave is 7-1 this year when scoring first... Milwaukee, just a half-game behind St. Louis in the MISL standings, hosts Cleveland on 1/22 and plays in Chicago on 1/23.

F Goran Vasic ranks fifth in the league with 25 points and leads the circuit with 18 assists... GK Peter Pappas is tied for the league lead in both wins (nine) and saves (196)... Steamers Notes - St. Louis lost 6-4 in Cleveland on Friday and downed Kansas City 8-6 on the road on Saturday... The first-place Steamers hold a half-game lead over Milwaukee entering the week... GK Chris Smith saved 37 of 48 shots (.771 save percentage) over the weekend... GK Brett Phillips leads the league with a 3.90 GAA and is second with a .754 save percentage... Daryl Doran ranks third in the MISL with 27 points... Doran is second with 15 assists... Mike Apple (24 points, T-6th) and Sterling Wescott (23 points, 8th) are also among the league's top ten scorers... Co-owners Wally Smerconish and Michael Hetelson have begun production on a reality television show that focuses on the team.

NOTABLE:

- With his 26-save performance against Cleveland on Sunday, Baltimore GK Brian Rowland has posted three of the four highest single-game save totals in the league this season. Rowland made 27 stops in a 6-1 loss to Milwaukee on December 17 and recorded 21 saves in an 11-7 win over Cleveland on December 4. The 25-year-old now leads the MISL with a .771 save percentage.

- Milwaukee GK Nick Vorberg recorded the 600th save of his career in Friday's 7-5 win over Philadelphia.

- The St. Louis Steamers (12-6) are just two wins away from equaling their victory total for the 2003-04 season (14-22).

- Home teams are 40-26 (.606 winning percentage) in 2004-05.

- Kansas City leads the league in scoring average (6.2 goals per game) despite averaging only 26.8 shots per game.
