GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Sagu, Baltimore Blast, GK

Sagu earned his 12th win of the season Saturday night with a 13-0 victory over the Chicago Storm. The shutout was the first shutout in the history of the club (since the 1992-93 season) and the second shutout of Sagu's MISL career. Sagu stopped all 11 of the shots he faced in the match. Sagu, who is in his fourth season in Baltimore, leads the MISL with a 7.83 goals against average, ranks third with a .743 save percentage and is tied for third in the League with 12 wins. Sagu has been the goalkeeper of the week three times already this season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mike Lookingland, Baltimore Blast, D

Blast defender Mike Lookingland had a season-high six points Saturday in Chicago in Baltimore's 13-0 win over the Storm. Lookingland recorded two goals in the second quarter, a two-point goal at 3:07 and a three-pointer at 5:33 to put the Blast in top, 9-0. He also assisted Denison Cabral's third-quarter power-play goal that sealed the 13-0 victory. Lookingland, playing in his second full season for the Blast, is tied to rank fifth on the team with 35 points. He also ranks second on the team with 31 blocks. He has been named Defender of the Week once already this season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jamar Beasley, Detroit Ignition, F

Beasley scored five goals for 11 points in the Ignition's 29-12 victory over the California Cougars on Saturday night. His first goal was an unassisted two-point tally just 17 seconds into the match. His second, third and fourth goals were all scored within two minutes in the second quarter. He tallied his fifth goal with just under a minute to play to push the Ignition's point total to an all-time Team high of 29.
