GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Danny Waltman, Detroit Ignition, GK
Waltman, who saved 22 of 26 shots faced against the Baltimore Blast on Sunday, made his 1000th MISL career save on the night. Waltman's save percentage increased from .748 to a league-leading .756 following this weekend's performance. He also posted an assist on the weekend.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Droo Callahan, Detroit Ignition, D
Callahan posted five blocks in the Ignition's 19-8 victory over the Blast on Sunday night. The Ignition captain also registered two assists on the night, including one on the club's first goal of the match. Callahan, who has won three Player of the Week awards this season, ranks second in the MISL in blocks with 46.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ricardinho, Detroit Ignition, MF
Ricardinho scored seven points with three goals on Sunday night to lead the Detroit Ignition to a 19-8 victory over the Baltimore Blast. His second goal of the night marked the midfielder's 50th MISL career goal. Ricardinho's first goal was a three-point tally at 11:44 in the second quarter, his second and third goals were both scored in the fourth quarter for two points each. Ricardinho ranks second on the Ignition in points with 46 so far this season.
