Minnesota Swarm to Host Annual Winter Bowling Event this Saturday

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm will host its sixth annual Winter Bowling event this Saturday, Jan. 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sky Deck Sports Grille & Lanes, located on the fourth floor of Mall of America. The event is open to all Swarm fans and admission is free.

Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to bowl with Swarm players and staff, as well as enjoy complimentary arcade play and a free lunch buffet.

"This year's Winter Bowling Event is extra special, as this season marks the Swarm's 10th anniversary in Minnesota," Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. "We're looking forward to celebrating the start of the Swarm season at Sky Deck Sports Grille & Lanes this Saturday with the best fans in the NLL."

Swarm players that will be at the event include 2013 All-Rookie Team member F Shayne Jackson, D Alex Crepinsek, F Corbyn Tao and D Jordan Houtby. Assistant Coach Aime Caines will also be in attendance.

Swarm fans interested in attending the event can register online at mnswarm.com/bowl. Players listed above will be available for autographs and photos. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to win Swarm prizes as well as purchase select team apparel from The Swarm Shop by Goldy's Locker Room.

The Swarm returns to The Hive Sunday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. CT for their home opener against the Philadelphia Wings.
