Minnesota Swarm To Hold Training Camp This Weekend

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Minnesota Swarm General Manager Marty O'Neill announced today that the National Lacrosse League (NLL) club will hold its first-ever training camp this weekend. A total of 36 players have been invited to participate in Swarm training camp, which will be held from Thursday, November 18 through Sunday, November 21 at the Sportstown BC sports complex in Richmond, British Columbia, which is located just south of Vancouver.

Tickets to the Minnesota Swarm exhibition game against the Colorado Mammoth on Friday, December 10 at Xcel Energy Center are still available. Fans can order up to four free tickets to the game by going to the Minnesota Swarm's web site at www.mnswarm.com and clicking on the Free Swarm Tickets link located on the front page of the site. This is a general admission event and no seat locations will be assigned. Requested tickets will be distributed by mail in early December. There is a limit of four tickets per person and supplies are limited to a first-come, first-served basis.

The Swarm will begin play in the NLL's Eastern Division this January. Minnesota will make its NLL regular season debut on the road against the Rochester Knighthawks on Saturday, January 1. The Swarm will host the Buffalo Bandits in its home opener on Friday, January 21 at 7:30 PM. Minnesota Swarm season ticket deposits are being accepted now at www.mnswarm.com, the Xcel Energy Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone at (651) 989-5151. A $25.00 per seat deposit guarantees your priority for season tickets. Lower level eight-game season ticket packages start at $80.00.
