Minnesota Swarm News Release
SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm today announced the team's upcoming preseason schedule.
For the second straight season, the Swarm will face the Rochester Knighthawks - the 2012 NLL champions - on the road at The Blue Cross Arena on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. CT. Minnesota and Rochester split their regular season series last year 1-1.
Minnesota will also face the Colorado Mammoth in an exhibition contest on Saturday, Dec. 1 in Oakville, Ontario.
"If you have the chance to measure up against anybody in the preseason, you might as well do it against the defending champs," Swarm associate general manager and head coach Joe Sullivan said. "We'll also have the opportunity to see a very strong Colorado team, which will give us a good indication of where we stack up in the West."
The Swarm officially opens training camp on Nov. 29 with their rookie camp and open tryout session in Oakville at the Toronto Rock Practice Facility.
Swarm fans looking to lock up 2013 Season Tickets can take advantage of a Buy 2, Get 2 at 50% offer.
